This project was created to explore different rhythms while still focusing on funk as the driving force. Believing funk to be an essential part of hip hop, I wanted to focus this project on it while still exploring different ticks and quarks that bring my style in the mix. The samples ranging from country to stuff I copped in Oaxaca while i was out there. You can hear a blend of genres in this project all I hope with the heart and soul of funk. Hope to get y’all grooving with this one.
